Service Description:

8-bed hospital inpatient program for people with a lower limb amputation * patients are fitted with a prosthesis and taught how to use their artificial limb

Set fees * publicly-funded services available for those who are eligible * funding may be available through the Assistive Devices Program

Medical referral required * patients are assessed in the outpatient amputee clinic for admission

Eligibility / Target Population:

People who have a lower limb amputation * must be willing to work with the rehabilitation team and accept recommendations
