Service Description:

Experienced pediatric oncology nurse, serving as a specialized resource to families in the hospital, home or community settings
Assistance and support provided includes:- review of child's diagnosis and treatment plan with family members
- assistance with planning child's treatment / referral to health care services
- help preparing and arranging supports and services
- support to siblings
- support during palliation
- follow-up during bereavement
