Service Description:
|
Assist victims and survivors of violent crimes by helping them:
- Obtain needed services and resources
- Deal with post-trial agencies such as Correctional Service of Canada and the Parole Board of Canada
- Obtain long-term emotional support
Other services includes:
- Advancing of victims' rights by presenting the interests and perspectives of victims of crime to Government, at all levels
- Provision of resource materials to crime victims and service providers in Canada
